Meet our Therapists
"Although the world is full of suffering, it is also full of the overcoming of it.”
— Helen Keller
Hi, I’m Jennifer Green, LMSW.
I have dedicated over 20 years to helping individuals, families, and communities in the social work and mental health field. My experiences have ranged from protecting children and families, to teaching and training new social workers at Thomas University, to serving as a fierce advocate for women as Director at Halcyon Home here in Thomasville, and now also working one on one with you.
Imagine sitting down with a trusted friend who's also an expert in mental health. In a session with me, you can expect a warm, non-judgmental space to express yourself freely. We'll work together to identify patterns, challenges, and areas for growth. We'll work at your pace, exploring topics that matter most to you. My role is to support, guide, and provide you with the tools and resources you need to thrive.
I believe that therapy is most effective when it empowers you to take control of your life, make informed decisions, and develop the skills and confidence you need to thrive. In my experience, the therapeutic relationship is a powerful catalyst for growth and change. As we develop trust, you’ll become more comfortable exploring challenging emotions, experiences, and relationships. As we do this work together, you’ll gain new coping strategies, improve relationships, and experience wellness and wholeness more fully and deeply.
I am believing in you, believing in your strength.
I see clients in person at our downtown Thomasville office on Fridays, and offer limited virtual sessions during the week. My session rate is $150. I am in network with local insurance provider Taylor Benefits (please note: we are not approved providers for Archbold and CRMC plans). I am seeing clients under the Clinical Supervision of Melanie Storrusten, LCSW.
"The need to be closely related to others is as basic as any biological need, and is... equally necessary to survival.”
— Irvin Yalom
Hello! My name is Daniel Covert, LMSW.
Have you tried therapy and felt like you still weren’t understood or that it didn’t work for you? What would your life be like if you stopped spending all of your energy pretending for others? How would it feel to see that you’re not broken, but rather, identify ways you are surviving in an environment that wasn’t made to fit you? If you're looking for a nerdy therapist who is interested in supporting you, your special interests, and can teach you healthy methods on how to view yourself, let's work together! My practice philosophy emphasizes non-judgemental methods that include IFS, TF-CBT, DBT, and relational approaches.
My highest priority is for you to experience the joy of learning how to be your most authentic self, establish boundaries to help others see you as you wish to be seen, and for you to put forth your strengths, honor your needs, and advocate for yourself.
I’m an autistic therapist that understands the challenges of making and keeping relationships, the cycle of high performance then burnout, creating a mask for each person or situation that crosses your path, and being told repeatedly by the world that you’re too much or not enough - or both! Neurodivergence is one of my specialties, and in addition to therapy, I also provide Autism Assessments for Adults.
In addition to my focused work on neurodivergence, I also work well with folks struggling with suicidal ideation, religious trauma, gaming-addiction, purity culture, and issues related to identity.
I see clients in person at our downtown Thomasville office offering evening and weekend sessions, and offer limited virtual sessions. My session rate is $150.
