Insurance and Fees
Do you take insurance?
I am in network with Aetna, Ambetter, BCBS, Humana, Medicare, Multiplan, and Optum/UHC/UBH. Sometimes insurance companies do weird things, so I encourage all clients to call their insurance company to make sure I am in network for their specific plan. For insurances not listed here, I can provide you with documentation to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement if you have out-of-network coverage. Please be aware that using your insurance means that your insurance company has access to your diagnosis and treatment notes. Some people opt not to use their insurance benefits to maintain their privacy.
What are your fees?
Without insurance, my fees are $150 per 50-55 minute session. Your credit card information will be kept on file and charged at the time of your session. If you do have one of the insurance plans listed above, your individual insurance plan determines your co-payment amount, and questions about that are best directed to your insurance provider.
What is your cancellation policy?
You are welcome to cancel or reschedule your appointment until 48 hours prior to your session time. Because your appointment times are reserved for you and cannot be filled on short notice, any cancellations with less than 48 hour notice will be charged the full session rate ($150). This includes insurance clients, as I cannot bill your insurance for a session you did not use.
Do you offer longer sessions?
For couples, families, intensive trauma sessions, or certain types of therapy techniques, there are times when a longer session could be beneficial. Longer sessions must be discussed and scheduled in advance, and are billed $150 each 50 minute increment or $90 for each half-hour increment. Longer sessions are typically not covered by insurance.
